What you thought of the service.

We Thought the service was excellent. The staff were polite and did everything they could to accomodate our needs, the Dj was more than happy to take our endless requests. The whole thing was well planned and well carried out.

What did you think about the food?

Everybody that i have spoke to has told me the the Hog roast was great. It was a nice change from the traditional buffet and i thought it was excellent value for money. It was all very tasty and i think it helped prevent alot of peoples hangovers in the morning.

What did you think of the venue?

The Venue is very impress, its clean and well represented. Again it makes a welcome and re freshing change.

What you thought of the service.

The service was very good. The bar staff were great and served us quickly.

What did you think about the food?

The Hog roast was great, everyone really enjoyed it. The only problem was the veggie curry we ordered never arrived, the stuffer peppers were ok but not very well received.

What did you think of the venue?

The venue was great, plenty of room and outsade space was good.

Did any member of staff stand out as extra special?

The lad behind the bar.

Everyone really enjoyed the evening and the hog roast. The only comment was it was so dark that you couldn't see the steps, they could do with being highlighted.

What you thought of the service.

We were impressed with the service provided. We did not have to do anything as everything was catered for which meant we could enjoy without having to run around worrying.

What did you think about the food?

We requested roast potatoes, however received boiled potatoes. The guests that went for the vegetarian option were not impressed. However the hog roast received good feedback.  We were also impressed with thre canape deserts, but by that stage we were quite full.

What did you think of the venue?

The Venue was okay. The Vodka bar was too hot and too stuffy for so many people. Air-conditioning should have been on and heaters should have been off. The space was appropriate for a private party, however, it would have been nice to share a dancefloor with others club guests as well.

Did any member of staff stand out as extra special?

Daniel did a great job making sure I didn’t have to do anything as he had it all covered and kept checking if we had any issues.

Any further comments?

We had some mixed views on the music. Most people loved it and it kept them on the dance floor all night. However others felt there could have been other genres to entertain all tastes. Coming from a djing background, I think the DJ needs to work on his mixing as there was a allot of mistakes!

What you thought of the service.

Good and fast service. Barmaid was very friendly and promptly followed up on requests – e.g. air-conditioning needed to be switched on (which didn’t happen in the end) and heater needed to be turned off as the room was getting too hot, which she communicated straight to the person responsible

What did you think about the food?

Flavours of the canapes were nice, however, nobody expected that other foods such as “mini burgers” were as mini as they turned out to be, which was rather disappointing.

What did you think of the venue?

Barmaid on the night was very friendly and helpful.

Disabled access should have been provided – i.e. lift should have been fixed - as we had a member of staff who was unable to walk down the stairs and therefore couldn’t attend the Christmas party.

Chameleon held their second Christmas party at Bijou, after trying other venues in Manchester nothing came close to the first party we held there and in years to come we won't be going anywhere else!

What you thought of the service.

Mark and the team at Bijou ensured our Key 103 Live aftershow party ran smoothly. The red carpet entrance gave the event a VIP feel and our guests all experienced great services and a real party atmosphere from the moment they arried. The team came across as professional and experienced in holding VIP events and understood exactly what we wanted from the evening.

What did you think of the food?

The Carribean BBQ went down really well with guests. Food was good quality and exactly what people wanted to eat after a night at the concert.

What did you think of the venue?

Bijou is an ideal location for our aftershow as our concert is held at the MEN Arena. It is easy to get to and has an exclusive feel which lends itself perfectly to being our aftershow venue. We were impressed with Bijou and have already booked the club for our Devember event.

Marc did a great job in keeping me updated throughout the night, ensuring our client and listerners had a good experience and that the night ran smoothly.

The service was very good, everyone was helpful, we thought it all went really smoothly.

What did you think of the food?

The food was really lovely, lots to choose from and was good amount for the number of guests we had.

What did you think of the venue?

The venue was great, we liked the layout and being able to go outside. There was plenty of space for eveyone and didn’t feel too crowded.

Marc was our main point of contact and he was really helpful both leading up to the event and during. But the bar staff were friendly and provided a good service also.

It was a really good night and we’ll be keeping the club on our records for possible use for future events.

Good food, especially the canapes and desserts Could do with a hot water facility for tea/coffee For those of us who dont drink.

Excellent venue covering off early start, dance floor, Great DJ, late finish. Outdoors for when the weather Is good, ample space indoors. Would definitely use The veue again.

What you thought of the service.

The service at Bijou was of a very high standard. All the staff  were really friendly and helpful. The bar staff were excellent, as were the staff organising the guest list and the barbecue!

What did you think of the venue?

It was perfect for our event. The terraced area looked amazing, as did the interior of the venue.

Our event manager Marc was excellent, as were Damien and Daniel. They were very helpful both on and before the night and really made the event a success!

What you thought of the service.

Fantastic service from beginning to end, right from discussing our prelimary idea to the event night, the whole process was made easy and stressfree thanks to Marc and Damien

What did you think of the food, the food was lovely, the BBQ and salads being a great idea for our party and all our guests dietary requirements could be catered for .

What did you think of the venue?

Beautiful, stunning, perfect for our party.  The outdoor space is fantastic and the bars and dancefloor all very glamourous.  Importantly it never felt that the guests were seperated either by the indoor and outdoor space, it was one great big party.

Did any member of staff stand out as extra special?

All the staff were so helpful and friendly on the night, helped with our every need, guest lists, presentations etc.  But the person who made the whole event run absolutely perfectly was Marc.

Any Further Comments?

We would just like to thank you for making the party a memorable event.  It was a really special night and for many of our guests it was their last chance to be together, so it was great to finish on such a high.  You were able to cater for our every request without hesitation which made the organisation so smooth and easy and completely stress free.  There were event additional touches that we didn’t expect such as the photographer.
Thanks again for a great night and I certainly hope we can work together in the future.

What you thought of the service.

We experienced quite a number of issues at the booking stages with regards to the VAT and the booking contract. When Damian took over we were immediatley compensated and had no issues after that. The service from Mark and the bartenders on the actual night was fab and they couldnt do enough for us.

What did you think of the food?

The food wasnt worth the money per head that we paid. We suggest that a bigger salad selection and better serving area for the food.

What did you think of the venue?

The venue itself was lovely, especially with the balcony facility.

Superb venue, very impressive entrance and the room upstairs was lovely with plenty of seating for the guests. It was perfect for a party and I would definitely use it again.

Marc Bennion was absolutely fantastic, knew exactly what he was talking about, made me feel completely at ease and took care of all of our worries to make it a pleasure to have our party with you. He organised the room so that it was perfect and made sure everything was going well throughout the night. The girls behind the bar were also very friendly.

The service in the run up to the event was very good. Marc was very helpful in answering any queries i had.

What did you think of the food?

Overall the food was good. I did get some feedback that said people would prefer the food labled as they were not sure what they were eating.

Our room was perfect for our group size and the dj played really good music.  The only down size was the dance floor was a little empty.

What you thought of the service?

The service provided by Marc and his team was excellent. Nothing was too much trouble and everything was carried out in an efficient and friendly manner. All the staff looked smart and presentable and portrayed a very good corporate image. The attention to detail on the small things like making sure all the glasses were spotless raised the venue above the norm.

What did you think of the food?

We opted for the Hog Roast which proved to be a fantastic hit for everyone. Perfectly cooked and well served. The crackling was a talking point the day after (amongst other things!)

What did you think of the venue?

We would not normally choose to hold a Christmas Party in a club but it turned out to be absolutely ideal. A good mix between informality and a little bit of pizazz.

I would hate to pick out any individual. Everyone was exceptional.

What you thought of the service?

The Service was great. We had a lot of last minute arrangments that were all dealt with quickly.

Ours was a unique situation where we needed a party venue from Midnight for a Wrap party. We thought we were would struggle to find somewhere but The Bijou Club met all our requirements and everything was ready to go when we turned up. Everybody was very happy with how the night went.

What did you think of the food?

With our party being a really late start we just wanted something we could get quickly so the burger idea was perfect although the smoke from the BBQ was a bit much and I think the food could have been better quality although the chicken got a lot of compliments.

What did you think of the venue?

The venue was excellent and the choice of rooms was suitable for what we needed as we only had limited numbers. I would like to come back on another night when the other rooms are open because the whole set up looks very impressive.

Did any member of staff stand out as extra special?

Marc was the manager on the evening and he was really friendly and helpful especially when dealing with a group of people extremely drunk from a free bar. The other staff were just a nice and quick to serve us but I didn’t get any names.

Thank you to all the staff. You made arranging a very last minute party very easy and it is safe to say that everybody really enjoyed themselves. I’m sure we will be back.

What you thought of the service?

There were plenty of staff all through the evening, Their attitude was good particularly the cocktail guy.

What did you think of the food?

Buffett was great, the selection was good & the quality high. The barbeque under difficult circumstances was effective, with fresh food there is always a wait & the halal option went down well.

What did you think of the venue?

Brilliant, lots of seating, a good dance area & sound system. The weather did not help & to use the outside area would have been good.

Mark, he worked extremely hard on the night & listened to our special needs before hand & delivered

What you thought of the service?

The level of service was excellent. Every time I contacted Marc about any level of detail he promptly returned my calls and assured me that the event would be perfect and it was. Marc contacted a couple of times before the night to run through how everything was going to run to make sure that the night ran smooth from start to finish.

What did you think of the food?

I chose not to have food so Marc provided a few canapes for the party which went down well.

What did you think of the venue?

The Bijou Club really was the icing on the cake, What an ideal party venue with a lovely large outside space, Which was well utilised on the night.

The attitude and level of service from all the staff was excellent. Every member of staff helped make the party go with a swing and went out of their way to ensure it was a night to remember.

took place at The Bijou Club this year and the finalists said what a great time they had at the venue, both during the contest and at the after show party.

The The Bijou Club management and staff did their utmost to make the finalists as comfortable as possible throughout and the chips, pizza and champagne (real model food!) provided during the final rehearsal were very well received. Particular thanks must go to Marc Bennion, the Manager, for whom nothing was too much trouble!

What you thought of the service?

The service we received both prior to the event and on the night was well organised, stress free and professional with a dedicated events organiser always available to attend our needs

What did you think of the food?

We had the canapes which were all delicious, especially the mini cheese burgers!! Also the champagne reception added a touch of class to the evening.

The venue was smart and contemporary and the cocktail bar was perfect for out party size

On the evening I would have to say Marc as he ensured everything ran smoothly from entrance to departure and all partygoers were looked after

All the staff enjoyed the evening, even the ones that could not remember very much!! But will definitely return with a larger group. One negative point was the club was very empty and needed more bookings which seemed a shame as the venue was excellent.

Chameleon Telesales hosted their xmas party 2009 at The Bijou Club. It was an amazing night and the staff had a fantstic time, I would reccomened everyone to host a party in the club.

The Bijou Club was a fantastic location to film our dates and i hope everyone actually realises that The Bijou Club is the authentic "Fernando's" - the hottest spot in Manchester!
